| . Color Evolution During the time the kittens are growing their colors change and become darker with time up to 18 months in development. Most Snow kittens are born white or nearly white. Then ghost markings begin to appear. During this time it is very difficult to get good pictures of them because they are so light colored that the flash on the camera washes them out.
